As a Social Media Assistant you will support KeyStone across their three social media platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter.
You will help to create visually striking and engaging content such as infographics, videos and so on. Your creative ideas will be brought to life so you’ll need to be able to translate an idea through to delivery - Canva and Photoshop will be your best mates!
You’ll also be keeping an eye on what analysis can be drawn from successful posts, what gets the most engagement, likes and shares? How can KeyStone attract more followers? Digging deeper into the data to share your findings with the team.
You’ll keep a close eye on other social media channels such as Facebook and YouTube and TikTok, keeping note of any trends or developments in these platforms for the future use of Keystone!

- You are interested in the KeyStone mission and want to learn more about housing issues affecting the UK. You don’t need to be an expert but an awareness and interest in tackling these problems is important.
- You love Social Media and appreciate that it can be a force for good. You’re pretty confident at using different platforms and probably have your own accounts that you enjoy using and growing.
- You’re creative! Whether that’s drawing, writing or making videos. You really enjoy the creative side of social media.
- You’re very organised and can handle a few tasks on the go at the same time.
- You enjoy communicating with others and relationship building.
- You like a bit of a brain tickler and you’ve been known to get your head into data and pull out the good bits worth talking about.
If you’ve got it, flaunt it. (If not, Google it)
- Any knowledge or understanding of the social/charity sector, particularly in relation to housing will be beneficial.
- Some knowledge of Canva/Photoshop would also be helpful; however, not essential.
